Value Added Reseller (VAR) Factory Training

Lenel offers a full complement of training programs at our "state of the art" educational facilities, located at our corporate headquarters in Rochester, NY, London, Hong Kong, and Lebanon. For Value Added Resellers, we offer an in-depth factory certification training program, including instruction in OnGuard field hardware installation, OnGuard software installation and configuration, and system troubleshooting. All course modules include hands-on projects and exercises, as well as student comprehension testing. We also have authorized instructors in Mexico City, Oslo, Stuggart, Beirut and Paris providing On-Site Value Added Reseller and System User training.

System User Factory Training

Lenel also offers training programs for OnGuard System Users. The training can take place at the Lenel training centers or at the customer's location. Because of the modular design of the course material, classes can be restructured to fit the system type and the knowledge level of the audience. Lenel Learning Solutions offers factory System User courses running on a monthly schedule.

OnGuard Direct Support End User Programs

For OnGuard System Users who have purchased Direct Support contracts from their Value Added Reseller, Lenel requires student attendance of certification training through the Direct Support End User Program. This training track is also beneficial for those End User customers who would like a deeper understanding of their OnGuard Systems installation and configurations. Information regarding this educational program can be found on the System User Schedule.

Distance Learning

We now offer web-based training (currently available in North America and Europe) for our students that have attended classroom training within two past versions of the current released version of OnGuard. The programs are designed to update the factory-trained student in new functionality incorporated in the new release.

Regional and On-Site Training

Lenel also offer's Regional and On-Site training courses. Regional training is the same as factory training content but for logistical reasons less hardware will be available. Regional training may be attended by many VAR staff and may lead to certification. Please review the On-Site schedules within the appropriate region. Regional courses are offered from time-to-time at designated locations within our areas of operations. Customized On-Site courses can be arranged on request.
